When you bring your idea or project to Marketplace Studio, you will be assigned a project manager that will be dedicated to your project from start to finish. Your project manager will handle all of the logistics and will dive into our database of freelance specialists to find the best people for the job.
Where Do I Start?
It all starts with an initial discovery call. We want to establish a relationship that is built on trust and passion upfront which is why we start every partnership with a complimentary 30-minute consultation. We use the time during this call to establish trust and determine if we can support you on your journey to success. It’s important for us to be passionate about the projects that we take on and it’s equally as important for you to trust us with your big idea. As soon as we finish our discovery call, we get to work on our research and discovery phase.
Phase 1: Research, Discovery & Building a Working Prototype
Phase one is all about research, discovery, and building a working prototype. Everything we do is based on our cumulative experience and our intensive design thinking process. We take our time to create a stellar working prototype that you can leverage to seek funding or build upon in future phases. Building a solid working prototype upfront saves you 30 to 40% in future development costs because you’re starting out on a solid foot.
It’s important to take the working prototype and get as much user feedback as possible so you can make sure you’re comfortable before moving to phase two.
Phase 2: Building a Solid MVP
This stage depends on the size of the project but we normally recommend creating a minimum viable product or MVP which is a product that encompasses enough features to attract early adopters so you can validate your idea early in the product development cycle.
As soon as you get your MVP in people’s hands, you’re able to receive valuable feedback which enables you to really start focusing on the big picture so you can put a plan in place and nail down next steps. Because you’ve built a solid MVP, your development costs will be much lower because they will be able to gain a clear understanding of your project meaning they can quote much more reasonably and more effectively.
Phase 3: Bringing Your Idea to Life
After phase one and two have been completed, we can really get into the nitty gritty of bringing your idea to life. We will assign a project manager to your project that will scrape our database of freelance specialists and curate the best team for the job. Our project manager and team will then get to work on building transformative technology that will bring your business to new heights.
